Speakers Corner: 2010 Games Anniversary – Do you have a story from the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games that you’d like to share? Stop by and record your story at the Whistler Museum’s Speakers Corner, located at Whistler Public Library. Library is open Monday to Thursday from 10 AM – 7 PM, Friday from 10 AM – 6 PM and Saturday / Sunday from 11 AM – 5 PM.
Snow Luge – Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Winter Games at Whistler Olympic Park where children and youth (ages 7+) can try “Snow Luge” for free, presented by Whistler Sliding Centre’s luge coaching team. Also, learn how children, youth and adults can get involved in luge, skeleton and bobsleigh.
2010 Winter Games Relay and Photo display – Relive the Games as the Whistler Public Library screens daily footage of Team Canada’s participation in the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. A gallery of photos taken in Whistler during the 2010 Games will also be on display Monday to Thursday from 10 AM – 7 PM, Friday from 10 AM – 6 PM and Saturday / Sunday from 11 AM – 5 PM.
